History

In 2000, two friends, young lawyers and universitary assistants, founded the law firm Oglinda & Nemes and decided to set-up the bases of excellence services in the legal field. The attention to detail, thoroughness and flexibility with which the interests of the clients are viewed have become the landmark of company philosophy.

With 2003, the team has been strengthened by joining Mihai Voicu, a brilliant lawyer with a family tradition in profession and international experience. The company’s name was changed in today’s name Oglinda Nemes Voicu (ONV).

ONV prestige in litigation matters has dramatically increased, starting with 2001, mainly due to strategies developed and successes acquired by the firm in the mobile communications industry, where the rivalries and the disputes between operators and their agents appeared, in connection with the growth of market.

ONV team managed to gain important legal victories in a field with no previous history and unprecedented in Romania, in which each case and its solutions mark the opening of virgin territories.

Growth and development of our customers and their businesses has gone hand in hand with the growth of ONV, so that our firm has developed and specialized its services, becoming the advocate of effective solutions, cost-effective and practicing preemptive legal assistance to corporate development.

The debut of relationships with our first foreign clients marked also the collaboration with large prestigious law firms from abroad, culminating with appealing to ONV office as experts in matters of international law conflict, in front of British Courts.

The team also grows steadily, reaching 10 well-trained lawyers who take up the vision and values of ONV partners.

In 2009, ONV has become a member of Legal Netlink Alliance, an elite global professional association of independent medium-sized law firms. In this manner, ONV ensures prompt access for its clients to professional legal services virutally in all countries of the world.
